Junior's 1st Birthday 08/08/08

On 080808, it was time to celebrate junior's birthday. Since he really likes water and watching fish (as we discovered at the zoo), we went to Underwater World at Mall of America.


















Junior was watching fishes swimming in water while drinking a nice cup of water.

It was a nice way to let Junior try something new on his birthday.












I think he enjoyed it. He certainly enjoyed petting the starfish and splashing their water.


















He had enough fun that he fell asleep in the car on the way home. Hmmm. What to do. He still had a cupcake and present waiting.

























It seemed like time to wake him up.













He eventually woke up and got to partake in his birthday carrot cake cupcake.






























































































































Time to open the presents.


















They ended up getting a bit sticky. But I think he enjoyed them anyway.

A day at the park 8/3/09

A few weekends ago we decided to check out a park that's close to our house. There's a huge sand box, swings, toys, and a kiddie pool. Today was a day to play in the sandbox.

He also got to slide on the roller slide.


















And swing with mom.
