Napa 12/26/05

On Monday, Hiroe, Steve and I headed off to Napa to taste some California wine. Steve took the day off to be with us. Or maybe he wanted the wine. Either way, it was a nice day. Our first stop was Opus One. At this vineyard, they make one wine and charge a lot for it. At $25 per glass, we decided not to taste the wine, but rather just enjoy the view.

Our next stop was Coppola. Here, we tried the wine and I bought a hat. And Hiroe had an olive.

After Coppola we stopped at Sattui. The wine here is good, free samples, and can't be bought in liquor stores. We had many tastes here resulting in no pictures... sorry.

Lastly, we stopped at Beringer. I had hoped we could take a tour here, since part of the tour goes back into the wine caves. It's really cool (literally and figuratively). But, we missed the last tour so we just looked around the grounds.

Hiroe should have a cool hat too, don't you think?
